Despite recent t-shirt weather days, autumn has hit hard again. I wish these leaves would last forever.

Today, I wish I was here revelling in the coloured leaves, instead of the lesson planning I’m doing now.

If I’d never seen Spring, it should follow that I’d probably never experienced Autumn before. Still, the leaves changing from cool green to warmer hues as the temperature does the reverse is a surprise to me. Last weekend I found a little piece of serenity amongst the crowds of Seoul at Changdeokgung’s Secret Garden.

Dr Green Tea sure fixed me up.

The effect of weather on the environment continues to astound me. I’m used to evergreen, the only change being a few more flowers in spring and a gradual browning of the landscape as summer progresses. These trees turning all warm shades of yellow and red are confounding and exciting all at the same time. I’m enjoying autumn and nervously awaiting winter.
